    CMF Phone 1 confirms 50MP rear camera with Sony sensor

    Shortly after confirming the processor, display, and design details, Nothing has now confirmed the camera details. The company further confirmed that the CMF Phone 1 will have a 50MP dual rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture, powered by a Sony sensor. The exact model is yet unknown. The camera will support 2x in-sensor zoom and may exclude Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), notably.

    In the video posted on the seventh day by SuperSaf, he passed on the information that the CMF Phone 1 would have a secondary portrait sensor, not an ultra-wide camera like in all previous Nothing models of phones. Eventually, this shift correlates with Nothing’s focus on enhancing portrait mode photography.

    Adding to previous confirmations, the CMF Phone 1 will pack a great 6.67-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and peak brightness exceeding 2000 nits, ensuring it displays bright, smooth, and crisp performance.

    Under the hood, the CMF Phone 1 will power up with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 5G SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and an additional 8GB of virtual RAM for seamless performance and multitasking. In addition, a microSD card slot will be available for expandable storage, and a robust 5000mAh battery shall support extended running.

    In addition, other features on the CMF Phone 1 include an in-display fingerprint scanner for secure access and bottom-firing speakers with a specially crafted chamber inspired by the violin, which should bring out better audio.

    Talking about its pricing, the CMF Phone 1 is expected to launch under Rs. 20,000 price segment. Furthermore, the phone will be available for sale on Flipkart in India. Anyway, the phone’s exact price will be revealed when the phone goes official next week.
