    Xiaomi 14T Series renders and specifications leaked ahead of global launch on September 26

    Xiaomi has now officially confirmed that the launch date for its new 14T series falls on September 26th in Berlin. Surprisingly, the date coincides with the launch of last year’s 13T series. In a report, detailed specifications and renders for the Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro have appeared courtesy of the German tech site WinFuture, giving an overview into what you should expect from the upcoming smartphones.

    Display and design

    The report from WinFuture stated that both the Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro will have a 6.67-inch screen with an OLED panel, featuring a 1.5K resolution of 2712 × 1220 pixels. Both phones will have a 144Hz refresh rate for smoother gaming and smoother daily usage.

    Further, they also house a 480Hz touch sampling rate and 3840Hz ultra-high frequency PWM dimming, support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision-meaning they can handle content full of depth and color. Xiaomi Shield Glass adds more durability to the display.

    Processor and performance

    WinFuture adds that the Xiaomi 14T will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra 4 nm processor, while the 14T Pro might have the Dimensity 9300+ SoC. Both chips promise confident performance, but the Pro variant would be more fitting for power users. The RAM on both remains at 12 GB and features UFS 4.0 storage up to 512 GB on the 14T Pro.

    Camera capabilities

    As before, the new Xiaomi 14T series cameras features Leica optics, supported by a 50MP main camera with OIS. However, the 14T will use the Sony IMX906 sensor, while the 14T Pro should boast a more advanced 50MP Light Fusion 900 sensor that may allow it to take even better shots in low light.

    Beyond that, both designs will also feature a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens and another 50MP telephoto camera with 2.6x optical zoom to satiate the photo enthusiasts.

    Software and features

    Both will come with Xiaomi’s HyperOS based on Android 14-out-of-the-box. Moreover, standout features such as an in-display fingerprint sensor, dual speakers with Dolby Atmos, and an infrared sensor, round out the standard set of smartphone utilities. Xiaomi’s decision to endorse Hi-Res audio is certain to please audiophiles.

    The Xiaomi 14T series will feature dust and water resistance with an IP68 rating, while being durable for everyday usage. For wireless connectivity options, it will feature 5G, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4-equipping the devices with modern standards.

    Both will pack a 5000mAh battery, but the Xiaomi 14T will support 67W fast charging, with the 14T Pro going up to 120W for even quicker top-ups. It will also offer 50W wireless charging across the board for convenience.

    Pricing and availability

    The Xiaomi 14T will have Lemon Green, Titan Black, Titan Blue, and Titan Grey colors, while the 14T Pro will only see Titan Black, Titan Blue, and Titan Grey colors. According to WinFuture pricing is likely to start at 699 Euros for the 14T, while the 14T Pro should get a base price of 899 Euros for its 12 GB + 512 GB model.
