HONOR has officially confirmed the launch of the HONOR 200 Lite 5G smartphone in India on September 19. This latest addition in the HONOR 200 series packs a set of features all combined to offer the best balance between photography, display, and durability. Here’s a detailed look at what the HONOR 200 Lite offers:
HONOR 200 Lite 5G features
The HONOR 200 Lite features a 108MP main camera with an f/1.75 aperture, said to capture clear images. Complementing the main camera is a wide and depth camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a Macro Camera with an aperture of f/2.4 for macrophotography. According to the company, the camera system allows users to capture:
- 1x Environmental Portraits
- 2x Atmospheric Portraits
- 3x Close-up Portraits
The device features a 50MP front camera that supports AI wide-angle selfie. If enabled, it automatically switches the camera to 90° FOV, which could be quite helpful in taking group selfies. The phone also features a selfie light for improved image quality in low-light conditions.

Further, the HONOR 200 Lite sports an AMOLED display to provide colors a notch higher in depth and contrast. The display supports 3240Hz PWM Dimming, a technology intended to reduce eye fatigue from long work.
Measuring 6.78 mm thick and weighing 166g, the HONOR 200 Lite is slender and feather-light. While sporting a compact build, the company has claimed that the phone meets the requirements for an SGS 5-star drop resistance certification, which could suggest that it’s supposed to be durable enough to resist regular wear and tear, let alone random drops.
The HONOR 200 Lite 5G will come in Starry Blue, Cyan Lake, and Midnight Black color options. It will be available from Amazon.in, explorehonor.com, and other offline stores after the launch. Pricing should be announced closer to the date of its launch.
As the launch date nears, further details on the pricing and availability will give a better view about how HONOR 200 Lite fits in the broader market of budget smartphones.
