Infinix has now entered India with its first flip phone, ZERO Flip, after launching the product globally last month. The ZERO Flip shares most of its features with the PHANTOM V Flip2, just recently launched. This foldable technology brings a versatile smartphone to Infinix’s line-up and is thus targeted towards users looking for functionality that incorporates modern design.
Infinix ZERO Flip features
The Infinix ZERO Flip features a 3.64-inch cover screen. It offers customization for 3D animated pets and also shortcuts towards most often used apps, such as TikTok, YouTube, and WhatsApp. This means that interaction with essential functions is possible without opening the phone.
On the inside, it comes with a 6.9-inch Full HD+ 120Hz LTPO AMOLED display. The large inner screen is built to provide one smooth scrolling experience and an immersive visual experience. The 120Hz adaptive refresh rate seems to maintain power efficiency along with the performance.
Infinix claims that the 400,000-fold hinge it employs in the ZERO Flip addresses a problem many have with foldable phones: the durability of them. However, it is not just that; the flip lets the camera within the device serve as a mini DV when active, also providing a small grip to get easier video recording.
The Infinix ZERO Flip equips a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens with 150-degree FoV, and a 50MP selfie camera. In addition, it supports 4K video recording; perhaps this will be useful for video content enthusiasts.
The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chipset and runs on Android 14-based HiOS. Here, Infinix has promised two major Android OS updates and three years of security updates-ongoing software support to users.
There’s 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage with the ZERO Flip. This device caters to users who need ample space to hold many apps, media files, and other data. It features a 4,720mAh battery paired with 70W fast charging for minimizing downtime on recharges.
