According to new predictions from famous analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the iPhone 16 Pro will pack the exact same 5x tetra prism telephoto lens as its bigger and higher-end sibling, the iPhone 15 Pro Max. But that’s not all! Says Kuo, future generations of iPhones—the iPhone 17 range—will come with even more impressive zoom capabilities. Future looking bright for iPhone photography enthusiasts.

    iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro: Big Zoom Camera Quality Upgrade

    Moving on to the iPhone 17 Pro, one thing to look forward to is a significant upgrade in the camera department. This flagship model will have an upgraded 48-megapixel tetra prism-based camera fitted with a larger 1/2.6-inch sensor, offering an increase over the previous model. The device has a larger sensor display that can gather to 40% more light and thus offer improved performance in low light and reduced graininess. Of course, increasing from 12 to 48 megapixels will yield a radical improvement in detail and digital zooming.
