Apple is all set to host the highly anticipated event ‘It’s Glowtime’ on September 9 at 10:30 PM IST. During the launch event, the firm is prepared to launch the new iPhone 16 series. With the launch date nearing, interest over the pricing of the 2024 models of iPhones is growing. As of now, a recent leak gave early estimates on potential prices for the iPhone 16 lineup. However, the official prices will be announced during the event.
Leaked prices for the iPhone 16 Series
According to Apple Hub, the iPhone 16 is estimated to be priced at $799, which roughly equals to ₹67,100. While, the iPhone 16 Plus, might cost around $899, that is roughly ₹75,500. Moreover, the iPhone 16 Pro is expected to start at $1,099 (approx. ₹92,300) for the 256 GB variant. Finally, the starting price of the iPhone 16 Pro Max may be $1,199 (approx. ₹1,00,700) for 256 GB variant.
The prices leaked, however, are concerning the US market, and for India, the iPhone 16 series is very likely to be offered at an even higher price. Prices of the iPhone 16 and the iPhone 16 Plus could be near to what was marketed last year in the iPhone 15 series, since there will be no major changes in these newer variants.
However, changes are rumored to be bigger for the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max by way of the rear camera system, design, chipset, AI performance, battery life, and display sizes, which could very well equate to higher price increases.
