While the iQOO Z9 Turbo was launched in the very beginning of this year, its upgraded version, known as the Z9 Turbo+, has now started receiving silent pre-orders in China. The device is said to retain many features of its predecessor, namely the original Z9 Turbo, while offering major updates in a couple of key areas.
What we know so far about the iQOO Z9 Turbo+?
According to Digital Chat Station, the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ will carry the same 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED flat screen as the predecessor, availing a 144Hz refresh rate. Such a display goes for users who want smooth performance and need such for either gaming or video playback. The flat screen design remains the same to give the same look and feel of the Z9 Turbo.
The most significant upgrades in the Z9 Turbo+ could be the switch from the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip to the Dimensity 9300+ SoC. This transition could most definitely create a leap in performance regarding gaming and multitasking. Indeed, it will be very clear when this model hits the real testing conditions.
Moreover, the Z9 Turbo+ gets a familiar setup: a 50MP main with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. On the front, the 16MP selfie camera configuration will stay unchanged and is ideal for selfies and video calls.
Lastly, the Z9 Turbo+ will retain the same 6000mAh battery from its predecessor, so expect a whole load of battery life. Additionally, it will support 80W fast charging to make quick work of recharging the battery.

Currently, pre-orders for the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ are live in China on vivo Shop, JD.com, Tmall, Yangkeduo. It is likely to make its official launch later this month, in September 2024. The company shall reveal more details about the phone as the official launch approaches
