    vivo V40 Series India launch confirmed with 50MP ZEISS cameras, Slim 5500mAh battery, and IP68 durability

    vivo has finally announced the arrival of V40 Series in India with great collaboration on its behalf from ZEISS for excellent portrait mode photography. Under this series, four 50 MP cameras include a 119-degree ultra-wide-angle, OIS Main with Sony IMX921 sensor, telephoto with IMX816, and a group selfie camera. All of them are equipped with ZEISS optics, which ensures great clarity and multiple styles of portraits, ranging from landscape to close-up.

    Design and durability

    The V40 series features an “unbreakable powerhouse” design featuring “Comprehensive Cushioning” to safeguard from all angles against impacts. The devices have passed over 70 rigid tests, including water and dust resistance with an IP68 rating, to ensure everyday strong durability.

    One of the notable selling points is the series’ title as the slimmest smartphone that packs a 5500mAh battery. Furthermore, it uses 80W FlashCharge technology, supplying high power in a sleek, stylish design.

    Color variants and availability

    The vivo V40 comes in three color variants: Lotus Purple, Ganges Blue, and Titanium Grey.

    In contrast, the vivo V40 Pro will arrive in two colorways: Ganges Blue and Titanium Grey.
