Samsung has embedded the Galaxy AI in its new wearables—the series of watches, the Galaxy Watch 7, and the all-new Galaxy Ring. Hence, Galaxy AI no longer resides only in smartphones. In this expansion, this Galaxy AI will utilize data from these wearables to provide further insights into your health and fitness activities. The information collected by these wearables will then be processed by the AI algorithms and present personalized stats through the Samsung Health app.

    Optimized for foldable devices

The new Galaxy Z Fold6 takes advantage of Galaxy AI with a few very exciting upgrades. For instance, Interpreter now includes conversation mode that makes translations smoother and more natural. With the Fold’s dual-screen design, the participants can see the translations on separated screens. Another one is Circle to Search, which is updated to not just give you the answer but an explanation, really enriching your learning.

Exciting new features of Galaxy AI

Galaxy AI adds a variety of new features that help bring added convenience to the user experience. A new button—Transcript—will let users transcribe voice recordings, translate and summarize them—right in the Notes app. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 takes the S Pen experience to an entirely new level with the Sketch to Image feature, suggesting images when you sketch or draw on top of any photo. It has also updated Live Translate to support additional languages and work with third-party apps, which will hugely ease the burden on the user.

    On-device privacy

If you are sensitive to privacy, rest assured that both Live Translate and Interpreter work on-device, so data is safe on your phone. Samsung does care about protecting the privacy of its users while bringing the most advanced AI capabilities.
