Lisa of BALCKPINK has joined forces with Spanish sensation Rosalía for their electrifying new single, “New Woman.” Released under Lisa’s own label, LLOUD Co., in collaboration with RCA Records, the track marks a powerful statement from the K-pop star. The music video, directed by renowned filmmaker Dave Meyers, captures Lisa in an adrenaline-pumping opening sequence. She delivers rapid-fire verses about overcoming challenges, declaring herself a “New Woman” with a “revved up aura.” The visually stunning video complements the track’s dynamic energy, showcasing Lisa’s confident persona and Rosalía’s compelling presence.
In the video, Lisa kicks off with the line, “B, you better swerve / Revving up my uh-uh-uh-uh-aura,” setting the tone for the powerful collaboration. The song takes a dramatic turn about a minute in, slowing down to feature Rosalía’s whispered Spanish lyrics: “Yo vivo pa’ cantar, no canto pa’ vivir” (“I live to sing, not sing to live.”).
