Jimin’s global dominance

This was highlighted by the fact that ‘Like Crazy’ continued to dominate Deezer’s Worldwide Top 100 chart for one hundred days as of May 30, this year. It was the first time in the history of K-Pop music industry, which made Jimin an absolute titan of music on the international level. This led to quite an impressive performance as ‘Set Me Free Pt. 2,’ a pre-release single from ‘FACE’ album, rose to position 11 on the same chart.

Worldwide recognition

The success of ‘Like Crazy’ is even more evident in the global chart: the song itself occupied number one place in music charts in 29 countries including Indonesia, Japan, England, Italy and United States. Jimin came up with his fan song ‘Closer Than This’ and other remixes such as ‘Like Crazy’ which also flooded the charts.

Unprecedented achievements

Jimin has emerged to be a new record holder in the K-pop artists after becoming the first to land into the Deezer Global Chart number one on February 17. He strengthened it even more when he returned to the US chart and peaked on April 7, and it is quite rare to see a K-pop artist doing so. Currently, Jimin claimed 19 days of being on the number one in Deezer US chart and 33 days on the top Japanese chart.

Solo success

Following ten years of achievement with BTS, Jimin initiated his solo career through the ‘FACE’ album that all fans adored. In music, he expressed his honesty and vulnerability, thereby rising to the chart’s prominence: ‘Billboard main single chart ‘Hot 100’ and ‘Artist 100’. Despite being a soldier, Jimin rises to the top every year as one of the best solo musicians in the market.
