Apple’s long-rumored, redesigned, Siri is finally expected to come with the launch of Apple Intelligence in spring 2025. This advanced feature set of Siri is going to put Apple users into a new scenario for the future in the interaction with devices. Siri’s next big update, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, will come with iOS 18.4. Gurman stated this is likely to go up for some beta testing starting in January.
What can we expect from the new Siri experience?
The new version will turn Siri into a more powerful and intuitive tool. One of the standout features of this revamped Siri is control over actions inside apps. It will be able to realize what is on the screen at that very moment and offer suggestions accordingly. This heightened level of interaction will let one use Siri more like a knowledgeable assistant, rather than just a voice interface.
Will the new Siri experience be available with the initial Apple Intelligence rollout?
The full version of the new Siri won’t be available to users for a bit longer. While Apple Intelligence is launching this fall, the full, new version of Siri won’t be ready then. However, users can look forward to some exciting Siri features at its launch this year with Apple Intelligence—a fresh design and integration with ChatGPT.

What about Apple Watch users?
Apple Watch fans can also breathe a sigh of relief knowing there’s something to look forward to. Gurman said the new Apple Watch Series 10 and Apple Watch Ultra 3 will have found an advanced processor compared to last year’s S9 chip. While that does set up some base functionality for improvements down the line relating to AI, it will not be released out of the box with Apple Intelligence support. There won’t be any wholesale program on the part of Apple to bring Apple Intelligence to Apple Watch.
