Released on June 28, “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band” swiftly climbed to #1 in 110 countries on iTunes within just 13 hours, setting a new record for the fastest song to achieve this feat in 2024. The song continued its success, reaching the top spot in the Bahamas and Anguilla shortly after. It later topped the charts in Fiji and Mozambique, bringing the total to 115 countries and further cementing its record-breaking status.
Consistent chart performance
This accomplishment follows Jimin’s impressive history of chart-topping solo songs. Tracks like “Like Crazy,” “Closer Than This,” and the tvN drama OST “With You” previously achieved all-kills by topping the charts in 119 countries. Additionally, his solo songs “Filter” and “Set Me Free Part 2” from BTS albums topped the charts in 118 and 114 countries, respectively. Jimin has now 5 songs that ranked 1st in over 115 countries, making him the only artist with this achievement.
Dominance on worldwide iTunes charts
The “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band” has achieved remarkable success on the iTunes charts by holding the #1 spot on the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart for seven straight days since its release in 2024.
