    BTS’ Jimin’s “Who” achieves 4th place on UK Official Singles Chart

    Jimin of BTS has broken his own record with his second solo album ‘MUSE‘, as the title track “Who” ranks 4th on the UK Official Singles Chart. This achievement marks Jimin’s highest solo ranking on the chart and his sixth chart entry overall.

    The UK Official Charts, released on the 26th, confirmed that ‘Who’ entered the Official Singles Chart at number 4. This surpasses Jimin’s previous solo records and highlights his growing influence as a solo artist.

    Previous chart entries

    Jimin first made his mark on the Official Charts last year with “VIBE (feat. Jimin of BTS)” (96th), a collaboration with Taeyang. Subsequent chart entries include the pre-released song “Set Me Free Pt. 2” (30th) from his first solo album ‘FACE‘, the title song “Like Crazy” (8th), and the OST for the movie ‘Fast & Furious: Ride or Die’, “Angel Pt. 1 (Feat. Jimin of BTS, JVKE & Muni Long / FAST X Soundtrack)” (82nd). The new album‘s pre-released track “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco)” (46th) also made it onto the chart.

    Dominating various charts

    ‘Who’ dominated various detailed charts, such as Single Sales, Single Downloads, and Physical Single Sales, showcasing Jimin’s global appeal. ‘MUSE‘ itself ranked 56th on the Official Albums Chart, marking Jimin’s first solo album to achieve this feat. The album also performed well on other charts, including Album Downloads (3rd) and Album Sales (14th).

    Spotify success

    Jimin’s popularity extends to Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform. “Who” topped Spotify’s Weekly Top Song Global (July 19-25), maintaining the number one position on the Daily Top Song Global for three consecutive days (July 23-25).

    Global album success

    ‘MUSE’ ranked third on the Weekly Top Album Global chart. The album secured the top spot on the Weekly Top Album chart in eight countries, including Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam, and placed in the top 10 in 19 countries.

    About ‘MUSE’

    Released on the 19th, ‘MUSE‘ is an album of self-discovery, seeking to find inspiration from around oneself. Jimin participated in the writing and composition of six out of seven songs that told his stories he wanted to tell. The title song is a hip-hop R&B song titled “Who“, which expresses sad feelings of longing for someone whom one has never seen.
