BTS has officially confirmed the release of their fifth full-length studio album and the launch of a world tour. The announcement, made on January 5, the new album is scheduled for release on March 20, followed by the start of a large-scale global tour later in the year.
First full-group album in nearly four years
The upcoming release will be BTS’s first new full album in 6 years and 1 month, following ‘MAP OF THE SOUL: 7,’ which was released in February 2020. It is also their first album as a complete group in 3 years and 9 months, since the anthology album ‘Proof’ was released in June 2022.
The fifth album will feature 14 tracks. BTS worked extensively on the project during the second half of 2025. The group has long been known for expressing personal and social narratives through music, and this album continues that tradition.
Each track shows the emotions, thoughts, and concerns the members faced in their journey, while also giving thanks to ARMY, who supported them during the hiatus from full‑group activities.
New official homepage launched
As part of their comeback promotions, BTS has also launched a new official homepage. This site will serve as a central hub for updates related to the album and world tour. The site will be regularly updated with announcements, schedules, and promotional content in the coming weeks.

World tour schedule announced
On January 14, BTS will announce the schedule for their upcoming world tour. This will be their first major global tour in approximately four years. The group last toured with ‘BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE,’ which concluded in Las Vegas in April 2022.
