Nothing’s CMF has officially launched the CMF Watch 3 Pro, which boasts a number of hardware and software improvements over its predecessor, the Watch Pro 2. The new watch has a bigger display, longer battery life, improved GPS capabilities, and a lot of smart features—though at a slightly higher cost.
Bigger, brighter screen in sleek design
The new CMF Watch 3 Pro features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display, an improvement from the previous 1.32-inch display. The new display has a 466 x 466 pixels (326ppi) resolution and 60Hz refresh rate, and is a bit brighter with 650 nits (typical) brightness, which can be read more comfortably in sunlight.
Encased in a precision-milled metal housing, the watch is sophisticated yet durable. The watch features a soft-touch silicone band and a rotating crown for simplicity. The watch offers over 120 switchable faces, including interactive, animated, and AOD-optimized options.
Improved battery and fast charging
Nothing has pushed the battery to 350mAh from 305mAh in the previous generation. Officially, the Watch 3 Pro lasts up to 13 days without AOD and up to 3.5 days with it enabled. Moreover, it takes approximately 99 minutes to charge fully.
Further, the CMF Watch 3 Pro features dual-band GPS and IP68 rating designed for sportspeople. Moreover, it comes with 131 sports modes. The watch comes with smart activity detection, which will initiate a workout session automatically if the person wearing it moves. 3D animated pre-workout warm-ups provide the wearer with a guided fitness experience.
For outdoor tracking, it features dual-band GPS (L1 + L5) along with GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and QZSS for enhanced location accuracy. The device also comes with IP68 water and dust resistance, which is suitable for the majority of conditions—just not swimming.
Smart features and ChatGPT integration
Aside from fitness, the Watch 3 Pro also loads up the wrist with robust smart capabilities. It offers Bluetooth calling with dual MEMS microphones, a speaker, and AI-enhanced noise cancellation. Some of its features are also accessible via gestures, such as a flip or double shake.
Interestingly, the watch is pre-installed with ChatGPT, which allows users to receive real-time responses to questions, have access to an AI-based running coach, and automatically transcribe voice memos. It even has an Essential News that would read out top stories based on user interest.
