Moon Byul of MAMAMOO has officially announced her long-awaited return as a solo artist with the release of her fourth mini album, ‘laundri,’ scheduled to release on August 20. She is making her first solo comeback in Korea in about a year. Her last release was the repackaged album ‘Starlit of Twinkle’ back in August 2024.

According to RBW Entertainment, the new mini album ‘laundri’ is designed to reflect Moon Byul’s emotional journey, creatively likened to the process of doing laundry. The title stylization, changing the final “y” in “laundry” to an “i”, adds a personal and artistic touch that hints at the introspective and expressive nature of the upcoming release.
The new album will have several songs, including her previously released digital single “ICY BBY,” which came out in June 2025. That track showed off her cool style and emotional lyrics, giving fans a taste of what’s coming in ‘laundri.’
